Gateway to the Coalfields: The Upper Grand Section of the Lehigh Canal (Joan Gilbert, 2005) Why are there massive man-made structures in the Lehigh Gorge, now a state park? Lovis, 2005) Once one of the  largest steel plants in the world, Sparrows Point had a company town, record-producing furnaces, and as many as 25,000 employees. Over 60 historical photographs, maps and drawings are in this best-selling book.
